ADS setup

1-      Create ADSUSER<SID> user id in the ADS system (Wichita D19, Port 59400, in development)

2-      Create ADS_AGENT user id in connecting to system and assign role SAP_BC_FP_ICF

3-      Generate and save and compare user role SAP_BC_FP_ICF

4-      In all connecting to systems, goto ADS connection under HTTP Connections to external server

5-      Make sure its pointing to the Netweaver Shared Services system. (Wichita D19, Port 59400, in development)

6-      In the logon tab, change the user from ADSUSER to ADSUSER<D19>

7-      Then save and do test connection

8-     Log on to the Visual Administrator of your connecting to system

Go to Server – Services – Destinations – HTTP and click New and enter RFC connection

9- Then Save and do test

CHECKS:

1) Checks if your system is configured correctly for processing forms in an ABAP environment.

2) This is a test for checking the RFC destination. This test applies to both connections using Basic Authentication and SSL connections.

3) This is a test for checking whether the entries for the user, security role, and passwords are correct in a system that uses Basic Authentication.
